“Account Status” at the bottom of Settings shows whether the current account is a Guest or an Apple ID account.
Guest account
An anonymous guest account is created automatically on first use, and its subjects and study history are saved under that account. Before changing devices, link the account to Apple ID on the device that contains your data or create a backup.
Link with Apple ID
Using “Sign in with Apple” while signed in as a guest links the current guest account to your Apple ID. It does not automatically merge histories that already belong to multiple accounts.
If the selected Apple ID is already linked to another account, the app displays a warning. Continuing to the existing account can make the current guest account’s data unavailable, so create a backup first.
Sign out
Signing out of an Apple ID account returns you to the Sign in with Apple screen. Sign in with the same Apple ID to use the same account again.
Delete the account
Delete Account permanently removes cloud subjects, study history, and the account. An Apple ID account requires Apple reauthentication before deletion.
Create a backup first if you need the history. To clean up records without deleting the account, delete individual entries or use Delete All History Data instead.
